The Thin Veil Between Eclipses

New Moon Solar Eclipse in Cancer June 21, 2020

A lot of people are now talking about the past when looking to the present. There is a lot of interest in ancestral healing. The eclipse season, in addition to Mercury retrograde, especially in the sign of Cancer, is the perfect time to look to the past. The veil that separates the dead from the living, is especially thin during eclipse season. If we are disconnected with where we come from, it makes it that much harder to set the course for the future. Acknowledging and connecting with our ancestors can also help us to have compassion for other people's ancestors. When we go back far enough, we will all find common ancestors. There is a lot of healing that needs to occur before we are mentally ready for the age of Aquarius, which is set officially to start at the end of December of 2020.

There is a lot to learn even when we look way past our great grandparents. What was their daily life like? What were their dreams? Struggles? Was there a feeling of constant danger? Or a feeling of belonging to a tribe? How did they deal with pandemics? Are we really supposedly so much more advanced than they were? It only took a microscopic virus to bring us to our knees. We don't have as much control as we would like to think. Despite our technological advances, and the freedom that comes with them, are we spiritually more mature? This answer lies in the way we treat each other, animals and the planet.

The nodal access has just changed to Gemini-Sagittarius. Somebody recently pointed out that Gemini is about listening. It is true that we often confuse communicating with lots of talking. But listening is an art form that is much less practiced. Especially by those with privilege. Listening and learning (Gemini) and adjusting our beliefs (Sagittarius) is what is needed in more areas than one.

This solar eclipse is also a half-way marker to the road we all got on during January of 2020. Saturn and Jupiter will enter into Aquarius in December, and the age of Aquarius will officially begin. A bit differently perhaps than what we had in mind in the 60's. It is not too late. We can still dream the future. But, Pluto and Saturn cannot be fooled. It is either complete honesty and reconstruction, or just plain destruction. There is no middle way when it comes to this once in a lifetime occurrence of Pluto-Saturn conjunction, and the ripples we will be feeling years to come. We will learn to live with each other because we have to. We will save the planet because we have to. We will come up with amazing technological advances and learn to use them responsibly, because we have no choice. Will it be smooth and easy, or rough and wild? It is up to us.

Phase one is over. We are currently resetting under the eclipse skies. Phase two begins in July. Ask guidance from your ancestral guides and then pick a point on the wall, like when doing a yoga posture that requires balancing the body. Set your sights long term - pick a point in the far distance, and be ready to ride the rough waves in the fall. Stay flexible, open, listen and learn - and stay ready to adjust as needed. Keep your sights on the horizon. The Heart of the Sunrise lives there, even if it is still dark outside.
