Pluto entered Aquarius for the first time on March 23, 2023 and will stay there for... 20 years.
Pluto in Aquarius for Each Sign
Pluto enters Aquarius for the first time on March 23, 2023, (dips back into Capricorn a few times), but eventually, by November 20, 2024, will stay in Aquarius for 20 years. Please read both your sun and rising signs for best understanding of how the Pluto transits may impact you, a few times very intensely, but otherwise mostly very slowly but surely in the background, during the next 20 years. For general description for Pluto in Aquarius, please check out my previous blog The Weird, Wild World of Pluto in Aquarius.
We are in an interesting situation that we all experienced first Saturn in Aquarius for about 3 years, and now followed by Pluto in that same area of life. So what ever issues Saturn brought up for you for the past 3 years, Pluto is here to make a final, permanent change and seal it. If you are reading this, you stood the test of Saturn in Aquarius, so you are well prepared for Pluto. As I mentioned in my previous blog, while Saturn brings personal lessons and even gifts, Pluto is more impersonal and brings a change that you simply have to adapt to. The lessons are more on a transcendental level.
Please note that while the topics below will be already introduced to use at a general level probably in the new year or two, an outer planet transit will NOT impact an individual intensely for the full 20 years - only be on the lookout when Pluto aspects within 1-3 degrees any of your natal planets by conjunction, square or opposition. A personal chart reading will give a lot more detailed information.
ARIES - Pluto in your 11th house of hopes, dreams, friends, groups and networks may change the way you see who your real friends are and what dreams are really worth fighting for. Pluto's transit can explain that nagging feeling that you don't belong to any of your existing group for awhile now. Your dreams may also shift considerably at some point from ordinary to extraordinary. You may also find a whole new, unique community and networks that will take you to a level that you didn't even know existed.
TAURUS - Pluto in your 10th house of career and visibility in the world will transform the way you conduct your work in the world. Bringing in new technology will be advantageous and inspiring as long as you use it responsibly. You have been hosting Saturn here for a few years, and mastered your profession. Now you can take it to a whole new level or territory where no one has gone before.
GEMINI - First of all, you can breathe a big sigh of relief now that Mars, which has been in your sign for the past 7 months, finally moved into Cancer on March 25th - the pace should slow down now and things should become clearer. Pluto in your 9th house of life philosophy, religion, travel and higher education will mean that when things get wired, the wired gets going. Your belief system is about to get transformed upside down at some point. The most intense timing depends on your natal chart. This transformation may happen through intense studies or traveling. Finding a teacher that has a deep impact on you is one possibility. Another possibility is that you are at the point where you yourself finally start teaching and sharing all that you have learned. But one way or another, your mind is a about to expand to far away places or possibilities you never even considered before.
CANCER - Pluto in your 8th house of other people's money, debts owed to you or debts owed by you. Pluto in this house can mean an ending to metaphorical or physical karma owed to you, or you owing to others, meaning that your or their dependency ends. It can also mean an inheritance and / or dealing with estate matters. Another possibility is your partner's (business or personal) financial matters that will have an impact on you. Your neediness regarding wanting to feel needed or approved by other people may also change. You may be able rid of this energy wasting tendency once and for all, because Pluto will make you to face it and work on it.
LEO - Pluto in your 7th house of relationships. If you didn't break up or make a deeper commitment to a relationship during the past few years, you surely will now. Timing will depend on the other planets in your chart. But one way or another, your understanding of you in relationship to another will go through a deep psychological transformation at some point. You may decide you prefer your own company the best, or encounter a very intense and unusual partner or partners who will completely change the way you see yourself. We are not in Kansas anymore, dear Leo.
VIRGO - Pluto in your 6th house of service, work and health issues means that service will find a new meaning to you at this time. To serve and to be needed is secretly (and not so secretly), one of your greatest pleasures already. But now you are about to take a deep dive into understanding what it really means to help others. It is about immersing yourself into service so deeply that you actually forget your own ego. In this way, you will receive even more than you give. But do remember to take care of yourself as well, as health issues may flare up if you give without taking care of yourself, or with too much intensity.
LIBRA - Pluto in your 5th house of romance, children and creativity means that you will slowly but surely experience a change what gives you joy and pleasure. The old ways will fall away or get cut off, sometimes even in sudden and painful ways. For example, your children may now be moving out of the house to start their own lives. But the new ways will transform your relationship to joy. Is it a fleeting moment of superficial pleasure, or is it something that puts you in touch with profound and holy bliss, that you can tap into as a source of strength when necessary? Putting all your energy for example into a new, creative job may give a whole new meaning and joy and satisfaction you haven't felt in a long time. To truly embody this transformation there will be a price to pay, such as a shock of the initial change, that seems to come out of nowhere. But eventually this change teaches you to find a lasting source of wellness within yourself - which is priceless.
SCORPIO - Pluto in your 4th house of home, parents and ancestors means that after Saturn has made major changes in your home environment for the last couple of years, Pluto is here to ask what you really want your home surroundings to look like and make them permanent. You may even suddenly uproot yourself completely. Or you may immerse yourself looking deeply into your ancestors and get profound insights to your own life, by creating a meaningful connection to the past. Parents or grandparents may also experience changes that will have a deep impact on you.
SAGITTARIUS - Pluto in your 3rd house of communication, siblings and neighborhood. Your mind is about to be blown at some point - the timing depends your natal chart. Something within your immediate surroundings, or the way you communicate will change so profoundly, that it will have a major impact on you. It may not look like much to others. Pluto is famous for making big things small and small things big. But it is a big deal to you. Your relationship to your siblings may also change in a profound way; one example would be to find out that you have a sibling you never knew about. That is just an example of how Pluto digs deep into uncover secrets that might have been hidden for years.
CAPRICORN - You deserve a metal of recognition from the other zodiac signs! You have been hosting Pluto in your first house since 2008 and on top of it, Saturn from 2018 to 2020. Nobody knows the trouble you've seen, truly. I see you, Capricorn! Sure, Pluto is moving to your 2nd house of personal finances and values, but that's small potatoes compared to the years of transformation of your very being, which are now behind you. And best case scenario, Pluto in the 2nd house can in fact, bring you material wealth beyond your wildest dreams - yes, I said it, you heard it here! It is absolutely possible. Many very wealthy people have a prominent Pluto placement in their chart. One way or another, you can begin anew starting March 23, 2023. Congratulations, you made it. Remember to look back: do you even recognize that person from 2008?
AQUARIUS - Pluto in your 1st house of identity and body means that it is your turn to be transformed inside and out. Please note that an outer planet transit will not impact an individual for the full 20 years - only be on the lookout when Pluto aspects within 1-3 degrees any of your natal planets by conjunction, square or opposition. Pluto is about to dig into your very being and bring up all the mud and treasures it can find. Just ask your fellow Saturn ruled Capricorn, who's tour of duty since 2008 with Pluto is finally over. They are still here, and they are stronger than ever, because they know the answer to the question: "Know thyself".
PISCES - Pluto in your 12th house of hidden things or subconscious mind may bring out things that were previously unknown to you. Pluto will take you on a journey to the hidden places. Fortunately, you are no stranger to strange things. In fact, this is where you thrive on some level. However, Pluto will ask you to go into the depths you have not gone before, so this will be new territory even for you. It will be transformative and exciting, if not also occasionally dramatic and can make you more withdrawn than usual. Pluto may bring you in touch with your subconscious and the transpersonal side of life. It's not about "you", yet it is about you, but I don't have to explain that to you. You being Pisces, it is my prediction that you will go with the flow into the hidden places of your soul and emerge victoriously with a creative work in your hand for everyone to see in 3 years time.
I hope this was inspiring and helpful.
Namaste,
Ursula
