The Drama Intensifies

Mars activates and Uranus awakens. Jupiter and Venus bring small joys.

The Bad News

We are living through an especially dramatic year, as I already described in the 2026 astrology blog. The month begins with a gentler, yet already foreboding full moon in the sign of Libra on April 1. During Easter holiday time, it is indeed advisable to rest well, because the coming month will be extremely dramatic and stressful for almost everyone.

After April 9, Mars enters its own sign, Aries, and things will start happening very quickly both on a societal level and in personal life. The pressure is high and will eventually reach a boiling point between April 12–20.

By mid-month, as many as six planets and the Moon will have gathered in the sign of Aries, which Mars will then activate in an extremely intense and dramatic way that will not leave anyone unaffected. Still, for some this configuration may manifest more symbolically. It is good to pay attention to small signs from the universe that give indications of how Mars might continue to activate the Aries house in the future.

Especially the new moon in Aries on April 17 is difficult; it is stressful, warlike, and explosive. This is the most dramatic news month of the year, which says a lot! considering how chaotic 2026 has already been so far. Now more than ever, it is important to take care of your mental health by limiting excessive news consumption.

The Good News

At the same time, however, the helpful planets Venus and Jupiter are both in signs they favor, and are therefore able to assist. This help cannot really prevent the stress and drama occurring in Aries, which is significant. But Jupiter in Cancer and Venus in Taurus can help you find small everyday joys and comfort through friends, family, and pets. It is better simply to avoid matters related to the Aries house as much as possible, and instead focus on your mental and physical well-being, to the extend you are able.

Uranus Enters Gemini

The final shift toward the future will take place on April 26, 2026, when Uranus moves permanently into Gemini for the next seven years. I already made a video and wrote a blog about Uranus titled “The Great Awakener Arrives.” After that, the old world will be behind us for good—whether in a positive or negative sense—and there will be no return to the past.
